Bush Walks
Connect Closely with Nature
After breakfast, guests are invited to join our experienced FGASA*-trained guides on an adventurous bush walk to see nature safely but close up. Feel invigorated as your armed rangers/guides explain tracking, tribal uses for trees and plants, conservation and ecology. This is a wonderful opportunity to see smaller creatures and plants you might miss on a drive. But you may see larger animals—even some of the Big 5— on foot too, which is thrilling. Walks last about an hour. Wear neutral, dull colours, a hat and closed walking shoes.
PLEASE NOTE: To go on a walking safari you must be at least 16 years old. If you are older then 65, you will need a doctor’s certificate stating that you are in good health and fit. You could walk up to 5km each day over uneven terrain.
